Messrs Huddart Parker and Co.’s Wi miner a arrived from South on Saturday morning, and left again for Auckland after noon. , The Westport Coal Co.’s Regains, ■which left Westport early on Monday morning, should arrive here to-day. The U.S.S. Co.’s Wanaka left Timaru on Saturday for Wellington. She then proceeds to Napier and Gisborne, arriving here about Wednesday. On discharge of produce sho leaves for Auckland. The Canterbury Shipping Co.’s Storm left for Dune-din on Saturday. TljSe U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai returned from Auckland yesterday afternoon. Owing to the. heavy easterly weathe'f she did not arrive here till nearly 4 o’clock. She jcft during the evening in continuation of her voyage South. The scow Cannot arrived here on Saturday morning from Mercury Ray, bringing 60,000 ft of tmiber. She left Mercury Ray on Tuesday last, and on the coast experienced a strong southeast wind. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora is sheltering at Cape Runaway, and will not be able to work coast bays this side till the weather moderates. She picks up a good deal of wool, part of which will be transhipped at Gisborne, but thegreat■or amount to the DelphTo at Napier. •From Napier tire Flora goes to Westport for coal for Auckland, and proceeds to that port via Napier, Gisborne, and Coast bays.. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall,- expected to arrive from Tologa Ra v this morning, will also feel the effect- of the easterly gale, and will not arrive before thisevening.
