John Maxwell, aged about 36 years, staying at St. Hejier’s Bay with Edward Shaw, was by “the lattor lying on the ground with a razor _in his hand and his throat cut. Medical aid was secured, but Maxwell died an hour later.
A SAWMILLING FATALITY
INVERCARGILL. Nov. 27. Robert McDonald, married, aged 3c years, died in tho hospital last nisht irom.’an injury to his head caused by a flying winch handle, while he was working at the Hedgehope sawmill. He ieaves a widow and four young children.
