LONDON, Nov. 26.
The “Daily Mail’s” Ottawa correspondent reports that it has been practically settled that the vessels constituting the nucleus of the Canadian navy will be constructed in Canada. The Government has come to the conclusion that vessels equal to the British standard can bo constructed in Canada. While the cost would be a little more the benefits would justify the policy. OTTAWA. Nov. 26.

The association further recommended the Government to devote tlie proposed naval expenditure to deepening the Welland Canal.
