THE ATHENIC’S PASSENGERS.
[Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Nov. 30. Tlie s.s. Athenic, which arrived from' London to-night, brought 657 passengers. Of these 516 came inird-class, 234 were assisted, 84 being nominated bv relatives in. New-Zealand. Ninetythree of the. females are domestic servants. fifteen of whom are engaged for Hawke’s Bay. Thirty-seven of the mem are farmers.
