Hack Definition.—No liorso shall be eligible to start in a ‘‘Hack” race which has won a race to the value of 100 sovs. or races of the collective value of 250 sovs. at the time of nomination. Tho amount won by any horse in flat races, hurdle races, or steeplechases respectively shall not render such horse ineligible except in the special class of race in which it has won such amount. RULES AND REGULATIONS. No entry will be received for any Race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes and objections ■arising shall be decided by the Judicial Committee, or whom they may appoint, and their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. All Nominations, Entries, Acceptances must be accompanied by the NECESSARY AMOUNTS PAYABLE,' and-left at the. office of the Secretary, Tologa Bay, on the specified dates. Whennominating, the name of the trainer must be given so as to enable same to appear in the race books. The attention of owners and trainers is drawn to the regulation made with reference to payment of jockey’s .fees, viz.: that a sum equal to the amount of tlie losing mount must be deposited with the Jockey’s Fee Steward before the horse can be weighed out. No horse permitted to start until the Jockey Accident Fund Fee has been paid. In the event of interruption in Telegraphic communication the Club reserves the right of extending the time of receiving Nominations or Acceptances. Stakes Paid in Full.
