THE WEATHER
The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates’ summary and forecast: —The weather has been, v&ry changeable and. somewhat sultry. Moderate to strong easterly winds have prevailed over the North' Island and northerly in the South, though on the east coast strong southerlies have prevailed to-day. This disturbance, which has passed over the south, will be followed by a storm area: now advancing ov-er the Tasman Sea, which will probably envelope tliewholc country by Sunday evening. Northerly winds, strong to gale, cloudy and un-sett-led weather, with rain, soon probable everywhere.
