COUNTRY MAILS DELAYED

The Chief Postmaster. Mr. W. H. Renner, forwarded the following memorandums yesterday evening: The outward mail for \\ anigake was unable to < T et through yesterday owing to the river being too high. The mailman expects to get through - Outward mails for Motu are detained at Te Karaka owing to the fioodea state of the river near Poututu. The Arakihi mail has not arrived at Waimata Valley owing to the river being flooded.
