On Saturday £673 m cash was received, -and various amounts are to.he added and collections to.come in from some country districts. nad a large -band of ladies' and geritlc’irien worked hard from early morning till nearly mid-inght. The institutions which will benefit are the Dunedin hospital,. St. John Ambulance Association, Karitanc Home for Babies, Jubilee Convalescent Fund, Hospital for Incurables. and the Patients’ and Prisoners’ Aid Society.
