CRICKET.
POVERTY BAY ASSOCIATION
The usual weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association wds held last evening at the Alhambra Club rooms, Mr. J. B. Hunt presiding. Reports were received from delegates in regard to players available for the trip to Tokoinaru at Christmas time, ana it was decided to complete arrangements for the tour up the Coast. The groundsman at Victoria Domain reported that persons were in the habit of getting through the window at the pavilion and taking out cricket material, which was left out on the ground i ' night.—lt was decided to have the window protected by iron bars. It was stated that the turf wicket at Victoria Domain would be available for next Saturday’s match between . Y.M.C.A. and United.
