rpjiu Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Dec. «. A superannuation scheme lias been arranged for masters, officers,. and engi • neers in the employ of the Union Steam Ship Company. The directors have decided to subsidise the sclieme to the extent of £20,0C0, namely £IO,OOO cash and; £IOOO annually for ten years. Trustees have been appointed as_ follows : Captains D. J. Watson and A. Wallis representing the deck- officers, Messrs A. R. Hislop and H; J. Baldwin representing the engineers, and. Messrs C. H. Houldsworth_and TV W. Whitson • representing the Union Company. The age of retirement for men who have been ten years or more in the company’s service is to be 63. years
