I understand the latter intend to adhere to and press for legislation on the lines first agreed upon.

AN IMPORTANT STATEMENTLAND BILL WILL PROBABLY BE DROPPED.

It is understood on good authority that the Government have Compromised with the leaseholders by agreeing to drop tlie Land Bill for this session.
