, [TO THE EniTOU.] , * - Sir,--As the Holy Trinity Choir is announced as a competitor in Friday evening’s competition,-and the fact of its non-appearance (owing to unforseen circumstances) may occasion comment, we beg to state that the onus of any disappontment that may arise in consequence, rests with the [Exhibition Executive, and the apparent .deceiving of the public was unnecessary, for the Executive had ample opportunity to withdraw the name (the Secretary having been informed), but it evidently suited them not to do so —I am, etc -, E. C/SELWYN HAMLIN, Hon. Sec. H.T.C.C.
