The French manoeuvres show the untrustworthiness of dirigibles in ' war, time as they have to ascend so high beyond the range of projectiles that it is impossible to distinguish accurately. Moreover, an aeroplane is superior in manoeuvring, and able to carry Maxims to destroy dirigibles. The military Aviation School at Nice is developing aeroplanes and projectiles against dirigibles.
