rPEit Pnr.ss Association. 1 GORE, Dec. 9. G. G. Thurston and Mari 7 J^ c Thurston were charged before Mr. Young with keeping liquor for sale m a no-Ticense district. The prosecution alleged that accused ordered supplies by writing, using a fictitious nnpe, and when the liquor was delivered fictitious names were used on the receipts. Thurston pleaded not guilty, but alter tlie case opened Mr. Hanlon admitted guilt as to keeping liquor for sale as far as Thurston was concerned. Inspector Mitchell thereupon withdrew the information against Mrs. lnurston, stating that she was dominated by the husband. . Thurston had previously been convicted and fined- ioU, and the Magistrate sentenced him to the maximum of three months imprisonment.
