THE WEATHER
The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates’ .summary and forecast: —A change for southerly winds and cooler weather has taken place to-day. Conditions have been generally fine, but gloomy. The present indications are for cloudy and unsettled weather gene•erally; -and rain ■'probably-in most-parts.' The barometer will probably rise in the northern districts, and fall in the south, the steeper gradients accounting for strong southerly and westerly winds, with cooler weather.
