LOCAL EXPORTS. Tlie following figures show the values of the products exported from Gisborne from November 16 to 30: —Butter, 276 cwt., valued at £1417; hides, 44, valued at £45; skins, all kinds, 599, valued at £113; tallow, 3 tons, valued at £75; wool, 255,9551 b, valued at £SB63. For the month of November, 1905,. the total of the principal products exported from New Zealand was £861,541, and for November, 1909, £1,070,462; while for the eight months ending November 1908, the total was £7,561,677, as compared with £9,732,438 for a similar period tliig year.

| Pint Piucss Association. l WELLINGTON, -Dec. 13. The High Commissioner's cable, dated December 11, states : The mutton market is weaker and slightly lower, with scarcely any demand. The average price of Canterbury mutton is 3ijd, and North Island 34d. The lamb market is very dull, an indication of the opening of the new season. The arrivals of New Zealand lamb during 1909 exceeded 3,000,000 carcases. The average price of Canterbury lamb is 3ad,. other New Zealand brands 3-Ml, Australian 3kl. Large -shipments of lamb are expected this season, which keeps the market dull. The beef market is weak. Supplies of River Plate beef are heavy. The average price of New Zealand hiudquarters is 3Jd, forequarters S£u._ The butter market is steady, without animation. Buyers are cautious in anticipation of heavy arrivals. The shipment of butter by the s.s. Ruapehu arrived in good condition., also the shipment of cheese. The average price of choicest New Zealand butter .is 112 s, Australian 10Ss, Danish 1245, Siberian 110 s, Argentine 110 s. '. The cheese (market is quiet, with a tendency in favor of buyers. The average price , of New Zealand cheese is 54s to 56s according to quality. The hemp market is very quiet, sind a shade weaker. There is nothing doing. The stock totals 157 tons. The price of New Zealand hemp good fair grade on snot is £2B, fair grade £27, Manila fair current £27, Jan miryMarch shipments New Zealand good fair grade £2/ 10s, fair grade £26 10s, Manila £26 10s. The output of Manila for the week totalled 24,000 tales. The cocksfoot seed market is with a better demand. The stocks on hand are light. The average price ot bright, clean 171 b New Z-'a.a k 1 seed is 745. The wool market is firm for all descriptions. . "
