Co.’s Squall arrived yesterday afternoon with 446 bales of wool from Tologa. The bulk of the wool was lightered in the hay, and the Squall came up the river in the evening. and took in cargo. As she did not load in time to catch the tide, she stopped in the river, and was leaving at 6 o’clock this morning. The Anchor Shipping and Foundry Co.’s Waimea arrived yesterday morning from Grey mouth, bringing 330 tons c f coal for the Gisborne Sheepfarmers Frozen Meat Co. She missed the morning’s tide, and did not get up the river till the evening. The Gteamer Alexander, of the same line, is expected from Westport this morning with a consignment of coal for Messrs Robb Bros. The scow Three Cheers, beating down the Coast,, was passed by the Squall at obout 11 o’clock yesterday morning. It is expected that the scow will arrive to-day. The U.S.S. Co.’s Tarawera. arrives from South this morning, leaving later for Auckland. The Tuatea goes out ■at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. The following passengers have booked from Gisborne: <> Misses Oswald and Shopperd, Airs Stafford. Messrs C. J. O’Keefe, T. F. Lees, P. Foote, J. McDonald, J. Sclioles, S. MeMurray and Dr. Stoney. The Huddart-Parker Co.’s Wimmera arrives from Auckland and Sydney phis afternoon, and proceeds South dur. ' ing the evening. The Tuatea leaves the wharf on arrival and at 7 p.m. The U.S.S. Co.’s Wan aka left the Bluff yesterday for her usual run to Auckland, via intermediate ports. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s chartered steamer Anglo-Saxon, 5000 tons gross, is due to-morrow from ‘Auckland to load about 2000 bales of wool. The scow Alert arrived yesterday morning from Ngunguru, with 132 tons coal. The vessel left B Gisborne on Friday. November 26fch, and made a 36 hours’ run to Ngunguru. She then ■went to Auckland, and returning to Ngunguru loaded for Gisborne. Leaving her loading port last Friday, she experienced a fine weather trip on the voyage to Gisborne. The ketch Coronation. bound for Mercury Bay. was passed in the Bay of Plenty, and Abe scow Three Cheers, bound for Gisborne, was passed along the coast on Mondav evening. The Alert will probi'nlv load manure for Auckland, after discharging her cargo of coal. The schooner Awanui did. not get awav for Auckland last evening, hut should sail to-day. BY TELEGRAPH.
