The Huddart-Parker Co.’s Wimmera arrived from Sydney and Auckland yesterday afternoon, and proceeded South during the evening. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall left yesterday morning for Auckland. The scow Three Cheers arrived yesterday morning from Auckland with a lead of puriri and totara posts for Messrs Williams and Kettle, Ltd. The scow left Auckland on the 6th, and on Wednesday last had to put in to Great Barrier owing to a strong easterly gale. She started again oh Friday, and East Cape was passed on Sunday morning. Variable wands and calms were experienced down the coast. The scow Waikonini got away yesterday morning for 'Whangaparoa to load logs for Auckland. The New Zealand Shipping Co. s chartered steamer Anglo-Saxon arrives •from Auckland to-day to load for London- . _ .
