ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
BUGGY ACCIDENT AT TE EARAKA On Wednesday evening, as Mr. PSefton with his wife and family, were driving at Te Kara'ka the buggy upset, aud the occupants thrown on to the road. Mrs. Sefton was rather severely injured, sustaining a fractured leg. Dr. Collms motored! through from Gisborne the same evening, ania attended to the injured lady who is now progressing favorably. THE PAHIATUA TRAGEDY. [l’kii Pukss Association.] PAHIATUA, Dec. 16. . Crease, the victim of the trap accident, died last night. An inquest isnot deemed necessary. ACCIDENTS -TO TRAM CONDUCTORS. WELLINGTON. Deo 16. John Lee Walker, a tram conductor,, while on' duty to-day, by some meansfell off his car on to the rpad, fracturing his skull. WaVer is in a critical condition in the hospital. Another tram conductor had an ankle broken and received several bruises through attempting to stop a runaway horse.
