Danish 127 sto 1295, Australian unchanged, New Zealand 110 s, occasionally 112 s. There is a general upward tendency in anticipation of a good Christmas trade. Gradual diminution in the world’s shipments of wheat and an improvement in the demand for forwarded cargoes have caused activity. Ten thousand quarters of an Australian December shipment' sold at 39s 6d; 12,000 quarters of a January-February shipment sold at 38s 7£d net; 5000 tons, per steamer, December, 40s 3d, less if not shipped before January 15; 6000 tons, per steamer, December, 39s 9d; few parcels of old wheat on passage at 41s to 4ls 9d; Australian and New Zealand, on spot, is practically exhausted, with prices unchanged.'
