The report of the Assembly’s commit. t lee on daylight saving recommends an advance of an hour, on October Ist, and to put -back the clock an hour on Manch Ist. The Government is recommended to ask New South Wales and South Australia to introduce simi ilar legislation, but if these States refuse, the committee considers that Victoria should act independently.
