Messrs Miller and Craig will hold an auction sale of the stock in trade of Mr. Joshua Lawrence, produce dealer, at his premises, Peel Street, at 11 a.m. E. G. A. Reynolds, of the Central Furnishing Emporium, Gladstone Road,-announces the receipt of a large consignment of Christmas goods, which are on view at his establishment. The Gisborne Brewery has a notification to the public in this issue, calling attention to Gold' Top and Sovereign ales and the aerated waters produced at the establishment. Mr. E. N. Messrs -McAra and Wilson, of the Gisborne soap works, Kaiti, have an advertisement in this issue or the “Times” calling attention to tlieir various products.
