[Per Press Association;!
WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. In the Legislative Council this afternoon the Attorney-General (Hon. Dr. Findlay) made a vigorous protest against the habit of the House of Representatives in rejecting amendments made by the Council in various money Bills. It was, he said, an utterly unconstitutional attitude on the part of the House, and if the spirit manifested in the past obtruded itself in the future he. for one, would not consider if his duty to try and improve such r»j»asures which were obviously in need technical improvement, as they canrt from the House, if they were to be worked satisfactorily. The Council adjourned pending receipt of Bills from the House.
