The “Daily Mail” New York correspondent states that Dr. Cook’s profits are estimated at £24,400 from his lectures, and £5600 from his contributions to the newspapers. EXPELLED FROM THE EXPLOR*KRS’ CLUB. (Received . December. 26, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 25. The Explorers’ Club has expelled Dr. Cook, after an adverse report of the committee examining his claim to have ascended Mt. McKinley.
