ROYS’ HOME OPENED AT ELTHAM

[Pek I’hess Association.l ELTHAM, Dec. 28

The Salvation Army Boys’ Home, built and furnished at a cost of £6OOO, a memorial gift by Envoy Jenkins, was to have been opened by the Governor to-day. 11l His Excellency’s absence the ceremony was performed by the Hon. W. C. E. Carncross in the presence of a large assemblage. The Home will accommodate 50 boys, and about 20 from various parts of the Dominion are already domiciled therein. The Home is intended for orphans or semi-orphans.
