MANAWATU RACES. PALMERSTON N., Dec. 28. The Mas awatu summer meeting was concluded in fine weather to-day. The totalisator investments amounted to £32,656 for the meeting, against £37,042 last year. No decision has yet been given in regard to the protest again Bay Paul on the first day, ond the investments are still impounded. The stewards of the Plumpton Park Trotting Club concluded an inquiry this evening into tho running of Wallace in the Ladies’ Bracelet yesterday, but after consideration decided not to alter the judge’s jdacing.
