AN , UNCOMPROMISING MANIFESTO. (Jnv’kp I’iiksb Association —Copyright. (Received January 2, 5.5 p.m.) BERLIN, Jan. 1. The German Navy League, in a New Year manifesto, appeals to Germany not to be diverted from naval expansion by any consideration whatever. It makes special reference to English statesmen’s and admirals’ speeches against Germany, and also to the “soothing siren song” intended to allure German steersmen from the course. Adverting to the rumors* ol reconciliation and agreement, the manifesto declares that it is the duty of e'very patriot to suppress all endeavors that foreign countries could interpret as weakness.
