The Auckland lawn tennis tournament was continued to-day. The nienTp championship singles resulted ,:as--fal-lows: Peacocke beat Hat^H 61; Blair beat ‘ 6 _2. 6 —o; Prowse beat M&mer, ~6—6, 7—5. In Hgt-vyUch round' Peacocke beat B—6, §—o; Fisher beat Blair, ss—4, %— 0; and H. Brown beat Prowse, 7 —-5, 5 —6, 6—4. . The third round of the ladies championship singles resulted as follows: Miss Nunnelly beat Miss Cock, 6 2, 0 1 • Miss Travers beat Miss Balham, 6 3 ’ 3—6, 6—l; Miss Ruby Welhvood beat Miss Cooper, 6—3, 6 —2; and Miss Baird beat Miss Diinant, 6—o, g J Men’s Championship Doubles. —A. F. Wilding and F~ Wilding beat Dr. Keith and A. S. Browi;, 6—3, 63; and also beat Hunt and Hanna, 6—2, 6 —4 ; Fisher and Peacocke beat Ebbett and Webber, 6 —o, 6—4; and also beat Grossman and Hickson, 6 2, 6 1.
