The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall arrived yesterday morning from Auckland and Toioga Bay. She sailed at 5 p.m. on the 3rd inst., passing East Cape at 8 aagn* si i 'the 4th, and arrived at Toioga Bay at 2 a.m. on the sth. Sailed again at *4 a.m. Experienced moderate southerly winds and sea during the pas<!:rn. The imports are: 103 pieces of timber, 15 gunnies onions, 5 cases stout, 40 sacks shells, 60 sacks coal, ho packages sundries, 16 cases bottles, ft bales wool, 116 packages transhipments ex Orari, 223 packages transhipments ex Maheno. The Squall got ■away early this morning on her return to Auckland. The auxiliary schooner Fairburn returned yesterdav afternoon from Paka. rae, bringing 280 bales wool. Sbe proceeds for a further load to Toioga Bay to-day. . The U.S.S. Co.’s Mokoia, wlucli left 'Auckland at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, arrived at 5 p.m. yesterday, after hairing called in at Tokomaru on the way down. She was tendered on arrival and at 7 p.m., and left at 10 p.m. m continuation of her voyage South. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai left Aapier at 11.20 yesterday morning, and dropped anchor in the Bay at 8 p.m. yesterday. She was tendered by the Tuatea after the Mokoia’s outward passengers had been dealt with, and ;f.»ft for Auckland about 11 p.m. She calls at Tokomaru on the way up. The ketch Coronation will get away about Saturday for Auckland, via Toioga Bay. , , ... The N.Z. Shipping Co.’s auxiliary lighter Kiritona leaves for Auckland to-day or to-morrow. After part loading at that port. Mercury Bay will be visited, and timber taken on for the Tokomaru freezing works. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora was at Tuparoa yesterday, leaving there for Waipare and' Waipiro. She load s about 1500 bales of ‘wool, and tranships to the Nerehana at Napier, which port B he is expected t-o reach on Saturday. From Napier the _ Flora goes To the West Coast, via.
