BODY FOUND IN WELLINGTON HARBOR. fPiiii Piiess Association.! WELLINGTON, Jan. 5. The body of a man, which has been identified at that of Neil Miller, a groom, lately in Dr. Cahill’s service, was found in the harbor close to the Queen’s wharf this afternoon. Miller* was last seen alive on New Year’s Eve. Deceased, who was 32 years of age, was a single man, and had been 15 years in Dr. Cahill’s service. He was a native of Scotland. FOUND DEAD IN BED. GREYMOUTH. Jan. 5. Richard Clough, an old settler, digger ;aud butcher, a prominent sportsman, and clerk of the course to the Greymouth Jockey and Trotting Club for years, was found dead in bed yesterday. A SAD SUDDEN DEATH. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 5. Guy Ronaidson, aged about 21, employed as a clerk in the Public Trust, office, died suddenly at New Brighton early this morning. The deceased, who occupied a cottage with two friends, was taken very ill about 1.30 a.m., his companions being awakened by his groans. They sent at once for a doctor, but before he was in attendance the young man had succumbed. The deceased was a sou of Mr. T. S. Ronaidson, Inspector of the Public Trust Office, who is at present in Auckland. Ho was only tntnsferred to the Christchurch office months ago from Wellington, whore his home is situated. He was a former pupil of the Wellington College, and was a well-known cricketer, hockey player, and gymnast. A sad feature of the occurrence was that the deceased returned only yesterday from a- holiday trip to liis'home. At the inquest a verdict of death front heart failure was returned.
