Delagrange, one of the pioneer aviators of France, has been killed whilst aeroplaning at Bordeaux. HOW 7 DELAGRANGE WAS KILLED. (Received January 6, 12.5 a.m.) PARIS, Jan. 5. M. Delagrange used the Blerict monoplane with which he accomplished his Blackpool 'feat on 27th October. He thrice cricled round the course at a speed of 40 miles, and at a height of 75ft. A violent gust - doubled up t-lie left wing, and the right collapsed. The machine descended precipitately, struck the roof of a shed, and then the ground, and ejected him head foremost. He was killed instantaneously. [A cable message dated October 27 stated that at the Doncaster meeting M. Delagrange aeroplaned at 54 miles an hour.]
