■HIS STATUS IN THE CABINET. [Pint Phess Association.^! DUNEDIN, Jan. 11. A ‘‘Daily Times” reporter to-day drew the Prime Minister’s attention to a paragraph in an Otago . newspaper stating that the Hon. Tlios. Maclven7ag is now a full salaried Minister of the Cabinet. Sir Joseph Ward stated that the paper was a “bit ahead of it.” He added that some such arrangement was under consideration, but pointed out that anything affecting the personnel of the Cabinet had first to.reeeive the approval of the Governor. “If you had aslced me about this to-morrow,” said Sir Joseph, “I might have been able to give you more definite information. '
