Tim following is the Her. D. C. Bates’ summary and forecast: Heavy •rain has fallen on the. West Coast, ancl j:i other parts at times, and cloudy weather has prevailed. The barometer has risen about half-an-inch. at the .Bluff. Westerly winds have prevailed with in. creasing southerlies in the South. Present- indications are for a rising barometer with fairly strong southerly winds. Showery and changeable weather may be expected generally.
