ANOTHER ARREST. United Press Association —Copyright. SYDNEY, Jan. 12. Walsh, the Newcastle agent of the Seamen’s Union, has been summoned to answer a charge of using inciting language in connection with Saturday’s meeting of Newcastle miners. A UNION LEADER BOUND OVER. (Received January 12, 9.15 p.m.) Walsh, on ,a change of inciting, was bound over to keep the peace for twelve months, in sureties of £3OO, nvitli the alternative of three months’ imprisonment. His counsel explained that Walsh had, merely desired to protest against Mr. Wiade’s Bill, and when he found he had gone top far, he expressed contrition. STRIKE OF COAL TRIMMERS. The Newcastle coal trimmers have resolved not to trim any more vessels while the strike lasts. Up to the present the trimmers worked a few steamers which managed to secure bunker coal.
