SUDDEN DEATH AT ORMOND
■ A sudden death occurred at tlio Ormond Hotel last evening. Immediately after tea an okl man named John Collins, aged about 85 years, rose from his seat and left the dining room. Ho only got as far as the hall, -when he fell down heavily, and expired almost immediately. Collins was an old age pensioner; and had been living at the Ormond Hotel for several years. He lias been ailing for some considerable time, and was recently in the hospital suffering from a paralytic attack. The District Coroner (Mr. W. A. Barton, S.M.) was at once communicated with, and Constable Doyle was instructed to make inquiries as to the necessity or otherwise of holding an inquest. It is thought that death was due to heart failure, although so far no medical testimony to that effect lias been given.
