Bourke’s Wood and Skins Company, Limited, lias an. announcement to the public in this issue. Tenders for alterations and additions to the Waerenga-a-liika College close with Mr P. H. Graham at noon to-day. Messrs Williams and Kettle, in conjunction with Mr A\ . Lissant Clayton, will hold an auction sale of property at His Majesty’s Theatre at 11.30 a.m. to-day, when they will offer a number of sections fronting Gladstone and Stanley Roads. . . Messrs Miller and Craig will offer the unsold stock in trade of Chas. Taylor, cabinetmaker, to public auction at the Lowe Street Mart at 1 p.m. to-day. At 2.30 p.m. to-day Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. will hold an_ auction sale of 20 new and second 1 hand bicycles, to getlier with seven fire-proof safes and a large copying press. Messrs Williams and Kettle, under instructions from the bailiff, will offer a horse, saddle and bridle to public auction at- their horse bazaar at noon to-day. The annual summer sale at Messrs W. Pottie and Co.’s drapery and clothing establishment is to commence at 10 a.m. on Wednesday next, January 19th. The establishment will be closed all day on. Tuesday, Januarv 18tli., to complete preparations for the sale. Notifications to the public from the Ellerbeck Photographic Studio appear in the advertising columns of this issue. Mr A. Zachanah, tailor, has a special advertisement in this issue calling attention to his 80s suits and crash suits, made under his own supervision. Messrs C. Rosie and Co., drapery importers, announce that their great sum. mer sale is now on. To-day Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. will hold an auction of poultry, produce and fruit at 11 a.m., and one of furniture at noon and another of bicycles and safes at 2.30 P.m. Messrs Williams and Kettle wall hold an important property sale at their horse bazaar, Lowe Street, at 11.30 a.m. on Tuesday next, when they will offer, on account of Mr J. C. Dunlop, the lot, with build raj thereon, adjoinnig Messrs Adair Bros., in Lowe Street, and also the premises occupied by Messrs Bennett and Slierratt, fronting Lowe Street and Read’s Quay. They will also offer, on account of Mr D. McDonald, a quarter-acre section, with seven-roomed dwelling, on Whataupoko. Mr Chas. Buscke advertises an acre of land fronting Gladstone Road foT sale.
Tenders will be received bv Colonel Winter until noon on Saturday next. January 22nd., for the formation of two sections of road through the Wac-renga-a-hika mission estate. Messrs Coleman and Beere will receive tenders up to noon to-day for the lease of Lot 2, Hapara No. 3 Block, Mangnoapa, for a term of two years. An advertisement in this issue states that a country oractice is wanted by an English: doctor.
