— BILL INTRODUCED IN CANADIAN PARLIAMENT. OTTAWA, Jan. 18. Following the Canadian PostmasterGeneral’s visit to England -a Bill ’lias -been (announced -at Ottawa to control the ocean cable companies, rates and facilities. All such companies landing in -Canada will bo subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Railway Commissioners. (Received January 20, 12.25 a.m.) OTTAWA, Jan. 19. The Canadian Bill relating to cable companies is designed to secure lower rates for (private and pres s messages between the Motherland and Canada. The companies .will be required to disclose full particulars of their business in order to justify the -present charges. It is expected in Ottawa that the Motherland will enact concurrent legis. lation.
