FROZEN MEAT EXPORTS.
A RECORD YEAR
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., for the Shaw, Savill and Albion Co., have prepared the following return shewing the exports of frozen meat from the Dominion for the six months ended December 31st. 1909. Tlie previous best vas in 1903, some 28.000,6001 b lower, and last season the totals were 38,000 .PfMj’.o lower. For the first time in the history of tlie Dominion the export of ■lamb has been greater than that of mutton, and the figures for beef are also greater than over before, being over IG.OOO.COOIb higher than in 1908.
