The Huddart-Parker Cods Wimmera arrived from southern ports early on Saturday morning, leaving later* for Auckland and Sydney. The U.S.S. Co.’s Wanaka, from south, arrived at Napier yesterday, and .should leave there this morning, arriving here this evening or to-morrow morning. The Union Company advise that the steamer Alaitai, which is receiving a general, overhaul at Port Chalmers, as to be placed on the Sydney-Brisbane Suva-Vancouver service. The Alaitai •will »ail from Sydney on February 14th. and the Aorangi will be withdrawn from tne Vancouver service. The Aoraugi is owned by the New Zealanci Shipping Company, which has an interest in the Vancouver service. The U.S.S. Co.’s Alonowai returned from Auckland yesterday afternoon, arriving at 4 p.m.. She left during the evening in continuation of her voyage south. The U.S.S. Co.’sc Flora finished tran. .•a:upping wool to the Star of Canada on Friday night, and both vessels sailed for South. The Flora went to Pic ton, a.: 1 di to-day proceeds to AVellington to load blinker coal, and should pass •ri:rough Gisborne, en route to Coast ports and Auckland, on AVednesday. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Fanny •wr.3 leaving Napier yesterday afternoon and is due here this morning. The Westport Coal Co.’s Regulus arrived Troin Westport early yesterday morning, bringing a full load of coal. Gi:e will return this evening. The auxilary schoonor Kaeo is expected to sail to-morrow for Coast ports fv.i.d Auckland. .The New Zealand Shipping Cods f’van’ey, from Auckland, passed the Cape at 7 p.m. yesterday, and shouid arrive early this morning. '[dm U.S.S. Co.’s Squall, having been dr.-charged from the slips, where she v s undergoing her annual overhaul, r." lied on Saturday for Tologa Bay and Gisborne, and should arrive here today. Captain Brinck, of the schooner A wan'd, at present in port, left for South last evening by the Alonowai, on holid >,y leave.
