DUNEDIN EDUCATION BOARD

INDIGNANT AT DEPARTMENT’S ACTIONS. i Pek Press Association.! DUNEDIN, Jan. 26 ; The Education Board this morning passed a strong resolution, deprecating the action of the Department in consistently ignoring them and excluding them from taking part in the Education Conference. Mr. Mitchell described these conferences as nothing more Than a cloak for the Department’s designs, and the fortifying of the In-spector-General in the pursuit of error. The question was seriously considered of inviting the boards to combine for a conference of boards. It. was resolved to forward the resolution for confirmation by other boards, and to the Minister and members of Parliament.
