The third division of the Home fleet was second, with 49 points, the Australian division sixth, with 40 points; the Encounter scoring 62 compared to the King Alfred’s 79. THE NEW COMET. (Received January 28, 11.5 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 28. Cambridge Observatory states that the comet’s nucleus continues vivid. The tail has greatly increased, and is now 16 degrees, with a curve towards Pegasus.
