Mr. J. IV. Witty, secretary of the Gisborne’Harbor Board, returned from his vacation yesterday afternoon, by the s.s. Tarawera. Mr. and Mre. W. L. Rees were passengers for Napier hv the Tarawera last, evening, on route to Wellington. Adjutant Melkshnni, of the Salvation Army, left by the Tarawera last evening for Napier. . , Dr. and Mrs. Reeve, with their two young children, were passengers South bv the Tarawera last evening.
