THE WEATHER
Tlie following is the Rev. D. G. Bates’ summary and forecast:—A westerly area of low pressure is now passing south of New Plymouth and Napier with strong northerly and westerly winds and fair weather generally, though cloudy and showery conditions already prevail- in the extreme, south. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, with increasing northerly and westerly winds. The weather will probably continue fair for a short time in the north, though there are signs of a change coming soon. Cloudy, squally, and showery weather is probable south of New Plymouth and Napier.
