VESSELS IN PORT.

Fairborn, 6.3 Holmdale, s.s. •H.M.S. Pegasus sailed for Napier earlv on Saturday morning. The Huddart-Parker Co.’s Victoria arrived from South on Saturday morning, and sailed later for Auckland and Mydney. , The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai left Auckland at 1 ,p.m. on Saturday, and arrived here before neon yesterday, sailing again for South about 7 p.m. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Weka arrived from Napier at midday yesterday with a shipment of rams for this port. She left again for Napier immediately on discharging. The Maoriland S.S. Holmciale arrived yesterday forenoon from Grevmouth with a consignment of timber. t>he leaves again probably this evening for Naoier and Wellington. The 'U.S.S. Oo.’g Squall left Auckland on Saturday afternoon for Toioga Bay and Gisborne. She is due here this afternoon, and returns to Auck-

land to-morrow. On arrival at the northern wort the Squall will, in all probability, be docked for. overhaul. The U.S.'S. Co.’s Flora is working Coast bays on her way to this port, and arrived at Te Araroa on Saturday afternoon. After discharging 'at this port she goes on to Napier, and thence to Greymouth, returning with a full load of coal for Napier.
