The following is the Rev. D C. Bates’ summary and forecast: ine weather has continued very warm and humid, changeable but fine everywhere except on the west coast, and in some places in the. extreme south. iNonmerjy and westerly winds have prevailed, and strong at times in Cook and Foaeaux Straits. Though very unsteady in the south the barometer has made but little movement. Present judications are for a further fall in barometric- pressure in the south, with strong westerly preceding changes to southerly winds and a rising barometer.
