W 7 HERE A S tho land mentioned in Yv the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public "Works Act, 1908,” for a. certain public work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block V11..' Waimata Survey District: And whereas tho Cook County Council lias laid before the Governor a memorial accompanied bv a map, and also the statutory declaration, as reqdried by the said Act : Now, therefore I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the. powers and authorities vested in me .bv “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling .me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that'the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road in Block VII., Waimata Survey District; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect oi)( and after the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred' and ten.
