PRODUCE SALE. Messrs Miller and Craig report the following prices, obtained.at their mart <m Saturday morning:—Hens, Is Sd to 2s 4d; roosters, 2s to 3s 2d ; chickens, 9d; clucks, Is to 2s 3d; cockerels, Is lid, cabbage, Is 9d sack; bran,; 7s sack; cooking apples Id per lb., onions Id lb., potatoes l-Jd, plums Id, nectarines 1-kl, greengages Id, tomatoes 2d, rhubarb 2d to 4d. eggs Is 9d, butter lOd. shallots Id lb. Messrs E. S. Malcolm and Co. report as follows: —Fowls, Is 6d to 2s; ducks, 2s to 2s 3d ; roosters. Is 7d to 2s 3d", eggs, Is 7d and Is 9d ; butter 9d, apples Id to 2d, plums Id to 2d, pears’id to 2d, tomatoes l-)d, lemons 6d, onions ltd, picklers lid, rhubarb 4d, pumpkins 4s doz., kumekums 2s doz., cucumbers Is doz., potatoes Id to lid. maize 3s bushel, dressed Dun oats 2s 7d bushel,.small vegetables at usual rates.
HORSE SALES. There was a good attendance at Messrs Williams ancl Kettle’s horse sale on Saturday morning. There was a large yarding of horses, a number of special lines being offered. About 30 useful hacks and harness horses, the property of Mr. W. Bruce, Waihora, were mostly sold, at prices ranging from £4 to" £l3 10s. On behalf of Mr C. Neenan, about 20 fine half-draught horses were offered, but there was only a poor demand. On account of Mr* J. B. Hollier, the well-known racehorse Continuance, 4 years, by Sabretache—Chibouk, was sold to Air. J. F. l’ettie for §5 guineas, and Air. J. Clark’s Spate,- 5 years, by Alonaco—Pouawa. was sold to Air. F. Alclvenzie for 62 guineas. Alartyr King and Pluck were also offered, but passed in without a. bid.
RISE IN PRICE OF BUTTER. [Per Press Association.l AUCKLAND, Feb. 13. The butter factory companies doing business on the Auckland market have decided to increase the wholesale price of standard brands of butter to 12Jd per lb. nett as from to-morrow morning. This increase is due to high prices and good prospects received from England.

FROZEN MEAT AIARKET. The New Zealand Loan and Alerco itile Agency Co., Ltd., received the following cablegram from their London office on Saturday:—“Alarket improving for mutton, generally better for lamb, unchanged for beef.”
