THREE SHOPS DAMAGED AT

ROTORUA

[Per Press Association.] ROTORUA.. Feb. 14. A fire broke-out at Coileft's buildings yesterday at 1.30 a.in. Tno brigade were on the scene in good time, and with a good pressure of water, subdued the flames in barf an hour’s time. The premises were occupied by Chirm (tailor), Parkerson (photographer), ami Manson (draper). The stock in all throe shops were badly damaged by water.

Part of the shop occupied by Parkerson was damaged by the fire, which appears to- have originated in the roof of the buildings which are situated opposite the Grand Hotel. Manson and Parkerson are heavy losers. Chirm’s stock, a very large one, was not insured.’
