THE WEATHER
The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates’ summary and forecast: -Moderate northerly winds, and fair but sultry weather have prevailed northward or IN'ew Plymouth" and Napier. Elsewhere the weather has been changeable and squally at times, and showery in the far. south. The barometer rose in the south during Saturday night, but has fallen steadily since. Present indications are for moderate to strong northerly and westerly winds and further fall in tlie barometer, but a smart rise and a moderate southerly gale with a change in the weather may be expected.
