MAN FOUND DEAD
WELLINGTON, Feb. 14. A man named James Simson wnfound dead in a stable m Grant Road at 3 o'clock yesterday morning. An inquest was held in the afternoon, wnen a verdict was returned that death was due to the rupture of a varicose vein in the leg.

TWO BOYS DROWNED. GORE, Feb. 14. Two boys, named McKay and Henry r both about 8 years old. were drowned in the river at Maiaura while bulbing this afternoon. Henry's body has been recovered.
